Hello! My name is Michaela Williams, and I am the school counselor at Greybull Elementary School. As the school counselor, I support students and assist them in three main areas: academic development, personal/social development, and career development.
I am in the classroom every week teaching developmental classroom guidance lessons. I facilitate small group counseling offered throughout the year. I also work with students individually and help support student intervention.
I believe that every student is able to learn and be successful at school in an environment that meets their individual needs in order to achieve their maximum potential. Together, administrators, faculty/staff, and parents, can provide a supportive, encouraging, and safe environment that assists our students succeed in school and become productive, contributing citizens.
I am originally from Bridger, MT. I attended college at Montana State University – Bozeman and received a Master of Education in School Counseling and a Bachelor of Science in Family Consumer Sciences with a minor in Child Services. I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I also enjoy fly fishing, reading, writing, sports, and watching movies.
